The Hampton Inn & Suites-at the University is located in the heart of the West Main Street/University Avenue corridor, Charlottesville, Virginia. We are ideally located within easy walking distance of the UVa Medical Center, the Rotunda and 'The Lawn'', plus a wide variety of popular restaurants. A free city 'Trolley' service is also available (except Sundays) to transport guests to both the Historic Downtown area and around the University central grounds area. Our Inn is a five-story brick facility built in 1997, with 75 Standard rooms and 25 Suites. All rooms include in-room coffee maker, voice mail, two line phones, hair dryer, iron, high speed DSL Internet connection, and TV with cable. Some suites connect to an adjacent standard room, and each suite has kitchen facilities, a lounge area with sofa bed and a second TV. We also offer all our guests a complimentary hot breakfast (6am-10am), van service to the airport, UVA and Medical Center (7am-11pm), a free 24 hour Business Center, an exercise room and a no-cost guest laundry. Cribs and Rollaway beds are available, in limited number, by request. Complimentary wireless internet access is available in our lobby and our two meeting rooms. Audio visual equipment to support business meetings is available for a nominal fee.
