HotSeasons was founded in 2004 primarily as a hobby to create a directory of useful travel resources available online. With the breadth and depth of travel information available online, it soon turned into a full time job, trying to find and index the best set of user reviews, articles, and random useful travel information for every city and hotel in the United States.

For nearly every hotel in the United States, we continually search the web for the best deals, reviews, and articles related to that particular hotel. For some hotels we have a ton of information. For some hotels we don't have any (but we are working on it!).

For example, the Westin St. Francis is a wonderful San Francisco Hotel. For this particular hotel:,

1. Our crawlers and editors provide links to useful traveler reviews about the Westin St. Francis on TripAdvisor.com.

2. Our crawlers and editors provide links to articles about the Westin St. Francis found on Fodors, Frommers, The New York Times, Wine Spectator, and more!

3. We have relationships with, and provide direct links into the Westin St. Francis booking pages on Hotels.com and Expedia.com if you are interested in booking a room at the Westin St. Francis,

4. Based on what users have told us, as well as factoring in web rankings from across the internet, we have ranked the Westin St. Francis the #3 (out of 100 San Francisco Hotels we have so far) hotel in San Francisco. These rankings can change as we get good reviews, bad reviews, etc...

The Business

With a travel audience that is growing on a daily basis, HotSeasons offers hotels and hotel booking engines a performance-based marketing system to reach travelers who are interested in booking hotel related services for hotels we have listed on the site (similar to the links to Hotels.com and Expedia.com in the example above).
